The Amazon Giveaway tool now permits ebook giveaways. Amazon says that authors have been the largest users of Amazon Giveaway—an interesting fact, given that it’s possible for anyone to run a giveaway of any product on Amazon’s site. When creating a giveaway, authors can require entrants to follow them on Amazon or Twitter. Furthermore, Amazon has redesigned the giveaway layout and entry experience with authors in mind; entrants who don’t win will be offered a free ebook sample.
