Harlequin will shut down its Blaze imprint in June 2017, but rights will not revert to authors, since titles will continue to sell direct to consumer. The Harlequin press release also states that, at the same time, print and ebook versions of titles under Harlequin’s Romance and Historical imprints will only be available through direct-to-consumer online channels in North America, and not in stores.
